Turbolyft, a company operating in both the United States and Canada, has officially introduced a new lineup of helicopter completions named the “Y-Series.” This initiative is aimed at providing customized AS350 / H125 completions and is supported by strategic partnerships with equipment manufacturers. The partnerships are designed to modernize specialized mission packages for Aerial Law Enforcement, Aerial Firefighting, Medevac and Search-and-Rescue (SAR), as well as Utility operations.

“The Y-Series consists of five distinct categories,” stated Brandon Lowe, Director of Sales & Marketing at Turbolyft. “These include the Y-Fighter for Aerial Firefighting, the Y-Enforcer for Aerial Law Enforcement, the Y-Savior for Medevac and Search-and-Rescue, and the Y-Lifter for Aerial Utility Operations. The fifth package, the Y-Custom, caters to clients interested in a bespoke, multi-mission configuration constructed from the ground up.”

Turbolyft’s collaborations with firms such as Digital Airware, Helitak Firefighting Equipment, Voxelis Canada, SR3 Rescue Concepts, and Anodyne Electronics Manufacturing Corp. seek to enhance helicopter completions by integrating contemporary approaches and future technologies across all specialized mission profiles. The Y-Series is set to debut with the AS350 / H125 and will subsequently expand to include models such as the Airbus H135 and H145, Bell 429, 505, 407, and older OH-58 variants, with plans for the Leonardo AW09.

“The primary objective of the Y-Series is to provide an all-encompassing solution for operators and agencies that are either establishing new aviation programs, acquiring their inaugural helicopter, or seeking a modern helicopter completion. Additionally, it offers a streamlined means to update an existing aircraft or fleet with the latest technological advancements to address the increasing demand for enhanced tools, training, and safety measures.”

The Y-Series will present optional equipment, including the Helitak Fire Tank, AEM Digital Audio and Radio Systems, and Onboard Systems Hoist and Hook packages. Furthermore, the standard offerings across all configurations will feature the Voxelis VoxVision AI system, a Digital Airware subscription, the Turbolyft Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) and modification suite, as well as a training package from SR3 Rescue Concepts.

Turbolyft will unveil its Y-Series completions at the forthcoming Verticon show in Dallas, Texas, from March 10 to March 13, 2025. Four configurations will be exhibited through an augmented reality, static aircraft experience. Interested parties are encouraged to visit Turbolyft and Digital Airware at booth #2807 to explore equipment options and visualize their prospective Y-Series aircraft in augmented reality.
